Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is a private, graduate institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It is located on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. The seminary was founded in 1853 as the Garrett Biblical Institute. The name was changed to Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1994.

The seminary offers Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Religion, and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Garrett-Evangelical is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and the Higher Learning Commission.

The seminary's mission is to prepare men and women for faithful leadership in the church and the world. The seminary's core values are excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service; a commitment to social justice; a passion for the Church; and a respect for the dignity of every person.
