East Georgia State College is a public college in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of the University System of Georgia and is a two-year institution. The college has its main campus in Swainsboro and a satellite campus in Augusta.

The college was founded in Augusta in 1884 as a normal school for women. In 1924, it became a two-year college for women and was renamed Georgia State College for Women. In 1961, the college was renamed Augusta College and began admitting men. In 1963, the college was merged with the University of Georgia and became a part of the University System of Georgia. In 1972, the college was renamed East Georgia College and began offering four-year degrees. In 1992, the college was renamed East Georgia State College.

The college offers associate's and bachelor's degrees in a variety of fields. The college has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students.
