Columbus College of Art and Design is a private college of art and design located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1879 as the Columbus Art School, CCAD is one of the oldest private art and design colleges in the United States. The college offers bachelor's degrees in fine arts, graphic design, interior design, and fashion design, and Master of Fine Arts degrees in art education and fine arts.

CCAD's campus includes 14 buildings on 9 acres (3.6 ha) in the Discovery District of Downtown Columbus. The college's main campus is located at 60 Cleveland Avenue, across from the Columbus Museum of Art. CCAD also operates a second campus, CCAD East, at 1855 E. Main Street in Bexley, Ohio.

CCAD is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and the Higher Learning Commission. It is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design.

CCAD was founded in 1879 as the Columbus Art School by a group of women artists and art enthusiasts. The school was originally located in the basement of the First Baptist Church on East Town Street. In 1884, the school moved to the former home of Judge Elijah Hayward on Neil Avenue. In 1923, the school was renamed the Columbus School of Art. The school moved to its current location on Cleveland Avenue in 1934. In 1948, the school became a four-year college and began awarding bachelor's degrees. In 1959, the school began offering Master of Fine Arts degrees.
