Cazenovia College is a small, independent college located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The college offers a unique combination of a liberal arts education with professional studies, all of which are based on the college’s core values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and compassion.
Cazenovia College was founded in 1824 as the Genesee Seminary, a coeducational institution. In its early years, the college offered a classical education with an emphasis on the liberal arts. In the mid-19th century, the college began to offer professional studies in addition to its liberal arts program. Today, the college offers more than 50 majors and programs, including business, communication, education, fashion design, hospitality management, and liberal arts.
The college’s beautiful campus is located on more than 200 acres of land in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The campus features a variety of buildings, including academic buildings, residence halls, a dining hall, a fitness center, and a library.
Cazenovia College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The college is also a member of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of New York State.
