Bastyr University is a private, non-profit institution of higher learning located in Kenmore, Washington, just north of Seattle. Founded in 1978, Bastyr is a pioneer in the education of naturopathic physicians and other health care professionals, offering programs in naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and Oriental medicine, nutrition, psychology, midwifery, exercise science and more. Bastyr is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and its naturopathic medicine program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Naturopathic Medical Education.
