Assumption University is a private Catholic university in Thailand. The university was founded in 1969 by the Brothers of St. Gabriel. It is located in the Bangkok suburb of Huamark, on Bangna-Trat Highway. Assumption University is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of Thailand.
The university offers programs leading to the Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, and Commerce, as well as Master's and Doctoral degrees in a number of disciplines. The university is organized into seven faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Architecture and Design, Business Administration, Communication Arts, and Nursing.
Assumption University has a student population of over 9,000, of which over 1,000 are international students from more than 60 countries. The university's campus covers an area of over 100 acres, and includes a library, computer center, language laboratory, and a number of sports facilities.
