West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) is a four-year medical school located in Lewisburg, West Virginia, United States. The school was founded in 1974 and is one of two osteopathic medical schools in the state of West Virginia. It is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) and offers the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.

WVSOM offers a four-year curriculum leading to the D.O. degree. The first two years of the curriculum focus on basic sciences, while the last two years focus on clinical sciences. The school also offers a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (M.S.B.S.) degree program and a dual D.O./M.S.B.S. degree program.

WVSOM is committed to primary care and rural medicine. The school has a strong focus on community service and outreach, and offers a number of programs and initiatives to support its mission. These include the Rural Health Education and Service Track (RHES), the Primary Care Scholars Program, the Rural Health Fellows Program, and the West Virginia Rural Health Initiative.

WVSOM is one of only a handful of medical schools in the country with a comprehensive rural medicine program.
