The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is a public research university in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is one of the four campuses of the University of Colorado system. The university was founded in 1965 as a campus of the University of Colorado Denver. It became a separate, four-year institution in 1974.

UCCS enrolls over 12,000 students on 140 acres (0.57 km2) in the eastern part of Colorado Springs. It offers 56 bachelor's and 50 master's degrees, as well as five doctoral programs. The university's athletic teams compete in NCAA Division II.
