Thomas Jefferson School of Law is a private, ABA-accredited law school in San Diego, California. The school is named after Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States and the principal author of the Declaration of Independence.
Thomas Jefferson School of Law was founded in 1969 as the San Diego campus of Western State University College of Law. The school became independent in 1972 and was accredited by the American Bar Association in 1975.
Thomas Jefferson School of Law offers full- and part-time programs leading to the Juris Doctor (JD) degree. The school also offers an LLM program in American Legal Studies for foreign-trained lawyers.
