The Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law at Ventura is a private, non-profit institution accredited by the American Bar Association. The school offers a three-year Juris Doctor program and a two-year Master of Laws program. The school also offers a number of extracurricular activities, including moot court, law review, and clinics.

The Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law at Ventura was founded in 1974 as the Santa Barbara College of Law. The school was founded with the mission of providing a quality legal education to students from all backgrounds. The school was the first law school in the country to offer a part-time program and the first to offer a three-year Juris Doctor program. The school moved to its current location in Ventura in 1984.

The school has a strong commitment to public service and offers a number of clinics and externships. The school also offers a number of scholarships and financial aid programs.
