Founded in 1978, the Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution conferring bachelor's and master's degrees at distinctive locations and online to prepare talented students for professional careers. The college enrolls more than 15,000 students from across the United States and nearly 100 other countries in its degree programs. SCAD is uniquely qualified to prepare talented students for professional careers, offering more degree programs and specializations than any other art and design university.

The college offers bachelor's and master's degrees in more than 40 areas of study, as well as minors in nearly 60 disciplines. In addition to its locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, SCAD has degree-granting locations in Lacoste, France; Hong Kong; and eLearning through SCAD Distance Education.

The SCAD Lacoste campus is located in a 500-year-old chateau in the Provence region of France. Surrounded by rolling hills and medieval villages, the campus provides an idyllic setting for an immersive art and design education. Students have the opportunity to study abroad in Lacoste for a semester or a year and earn credit toward their degree.

The SCAD Hong Kong campus is located in the Sham Shui Po district, minutes from the city’s central business district. The campus features state-of-the-art facilities, including a library, computer lab, printmaking studio, darkroom and photography studio. Students have the opportunity to intern with leading companies in Hong Kong and gain valuable experience in the global marketplace.
