Saint Norbert College is a private Catholic liberal arts college in De Pere, Wisconsin. Founded in October 1898 by Abbot Bernard Pennings, a Norbertine priest and educator, the school was named after Saint Norbert of Xanten. Originally located in the Brown County town of West De Pere, the college moved to its current location on the Fox River in 1901. Saint Norbert College offers undergraduate degrees in more than 40 areas of study, as well as master's degrees in business administration, education, and theological studies. The college is organized into seven schools: an School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Economics, School of Education, School of Nursing, School of Professional Studies, Oratory of Saint Philip Neri, and the Theology and Religious Studies Department. The campus is home to several Norbertine Abbey buildings, including Old St. Joseph's Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The college's athletic teams, the Green Knights, compete in the NCAA Division III Midwest Conference.
