Saint Mary's College of California is a private, coeducational college located in Moraga, California, United States, a suburb east of Oakland. It is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church and administered by the De La Salle Brothers. The college was founded in 1863 by the Most Rev. Joseph Alemany, a member of the Order of Preachers and the first Archbishop of San Francisco, and is the second oldest of the 23 colleges and universities in the California State University system.

The college offers bachelor's degrees in 28 majors and 33 minors, and master's degrees in counseling, educational leadership, and teaching. It is known for its rigorous academic programs, and was ranked the second-best regional university in the West by U.S. News & World Report in 2019. The college has produced two Rhodes Scholars and is one of only two Catholic colleges in the nation to have produced more than one Fulbright Scholar.

The campus is located on the former Rancho Laguna de las Pulgas, which was purchased by the college in 1964. The college's buildings are situated on a hillside overlooking the Moraga valley. The campus is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the California golden poppy, the state flower.

The college is governed by a Board of Regents, and the Lasallian Brothers serve as the college's administrators and faculty. The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
