Founded in 1837, Rush University is one of the nation’s premier academic health centers. Located in the heart of Chicago’s Illinois Medical District, Rush is committed to improving the health of the community through the education of health care professionals, the discovery of knowledge and the translation of that knowledge into improved health care for the individuals and communities we serve.

Rush University is home to more than 2,500 students enrolled in six colleges: the College of Nursing, the College of Health Sciences, the College of Medicine, the Graduate College, the College of Pharmacy and the College of Applied Health Sciences. Our students come from all 50 states and more than 100 countries.
