Robert Morris University (RMU) is a private research university in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States. The university also has a branch campus in Downtown Pittsburgh, which offers undergraduate and graduate programs. Founded in 1921 as Robert Morris Junior College, the school became a four-year university in 1986 and was renamed Robert Morris University in 2002.

RMU is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The school offers more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs, including degrees in business, engineering, nursing, education, and information science. The university is also home to Pennsylvania's only accredited cyber security program.

RMU has an enrollment of more than 5,000 students, most of whom are undergraduates. The university's athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are known as the Colonials. The school's men's ice hockey team is a member of the Atlantic Hockey Conference and has won two conference championships. The university also offers a variety of club and intramural sports.
