Ponce Health Sciences University-East is a private, for-profit university in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in health sciences, as well as a Doctor of Dental Medicine program. The university also has a School of Pharmacy and a School of Nursing.

Ponce Health Sciences University-East was founded in 1977 as the Ponce School of Medicine and Surgery. The university was founded by Dr. Héctor G. Ponce, a Puerto Rican physician and surgeon. The university was originally located in the city of Ponce, but moved to San Juan in 1984. In 1986, the university began offering a Doctor of Dental Medicine program. In 1988, the university established a School of Pharmacy. In 1989, the university established a School of Nursing. In 2001, the university was renamed Ponce Health Sciences University.

Ponce Health Sciences University-East is located on a 14-acre (5.7-hectare) campus in the Santurce district of San Juan. The university has four academic buildings, a library, a student center, and a gymnasium. The university's library has a collection of over 50,000 books and journals.

Ponce Health Sciences University-East has an enrollment of 2,500 students. The university's student body is evenly split between men and women. The university's faculty consists of over 200 full-time and part-time instructors.
