Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) is a private, for-profit university located in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1977 as the Ponce School of Medicine and Surgery (PSM), and was later renamed to its current name in 2006. PHSU is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It consists of five schools: School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, School of Health Professions, and Graduate School.

The School of Medicine at PHSU offers a four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. The first two years of the program are focused on basic sciences, while the last two years are focused on clinical sciences. The School of Pharmacy offers a four-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. The School of Nursing offers a three-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The School of Health Professions offers programs in Dental Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Respiratory Therapy.

The Graduate School at PHSU offers programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science (MS), Master of Public Health (MPH), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). PHSU also offers several dual degree programs, such as the MD/PhD, PharmD/MS, and PharmD/MPH programs.

PHSU has a total enrollment of 1,664 students, of which 1,438 are undergraduates and 226 are graduate students. The student-to-faculty ratio is 11:1. The average class size is 20 students. The average SAT score for incoming freshmen is 1,200. The average GPA for incoming freshmen is 3.5.

PHSU is a member of the Puerto Rico Association of Universities and Colleges (PRUAC). It is also a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).

PHSU offers a wide range of student services, including academic advising, career counseling, tutoring, and financial aid. The university also has a library, a bookstore, and a computer lab. PHSU has a campus in the city of Ponce, as well as a satellite campus in the city of Mayaguez.
