Founded in 1794, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is a graduate professional institution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, PTS is the oldest seminary west of the Allegheny Mountains and the ninth oldest in the United States.

PTS is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and offers several degree programs, including the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and Doctor of Ministry. The seminary also offers non-degree programs and courses for continuing education and personal enrichment.
