Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Abington is a public research university located in Abington, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a member of the Pennsylvania State University System and one of the fourteen schools that make up the system. The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

The university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in more than fifty majors. The most popular majors at the university are business, psychology, and nursing. The university is home to the Abington campus of the World Campus, which offers online degrees from Penn State.

The university is located on a 486-acre campus in Abington, a suburb of Philadelphia. The campus is home to six residence halls, two dining halls, a library, a fitness center, and a student union. The university also has a campus in Center City, Philadelphia.

Penn State Abington is a member of the NCAA Division III and the North Eastern Athletic Conference. The university's athletic teams are known as the Nittany Lions. The university's men's basketball team won the conference championship in 2016.

Penn State Abington was founded in 1950 as the Ogontz Center of the Pennsylvania State University. The university was originally a two-year branch of the University Park campus. The university became a four-year institution in 1963 and was renamed Pennsylvania State University-Ogontz Campus. The university was renamed Pennsylvania State University-Abington Campus in 1974.
