The Pacific School of Religion (PSR) is a private, non-profit graduate school affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It is located in Berkeley, California, on the campus of the Graduate Theological Union. PSR offers master's degrees in divinity, counseling, and religious studies, as well as a Doctor of Ministry degree.

PSR was founded in 1866 as the California Theological Seminary, making it the oldest theological seminary in the western United States. It was originally located in Oakland, California, but moved to Berkeley in 1869. In 1925, the school changed its name to Pacific School of Religion.

PSR has been accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada since 1949. It is also a member of the Graduate Theological Union.

PSR's campus is located in Berkeley's historic Claremont district. The school's main building, known as the Mudd Memorial Hall, is a registered California landmark.

PSR is committed to social justice and offers a number of programs and initiatives that support this commitment. These include the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry, the Center for the Study of Pacific and Asian North American Religion, and the Center for the Study of Religion and Ecology.

PSR also offers a number of degree programs that are designed for working adults and students who are not able to attend classes on a full-time basis. These programs include the Master of Divinity/Master of Arts in Religion, the Master of Divinity/Master of Social Work, and the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology/Master of Divinity.

PSR is an inclusive community that welcomes students of all backgrounds and perspectives. The school offers a number of scholarships and financial aid programs to help make its programs accessible to all.
