Otterbein University is a small, private, four-year liberal arts college in Westerville, Ohio, United States. It offers bachelor's degrees in over 70 majors and is primarily a residential campus serving more than 2,000 undergraduate students. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Founded in 1847 by the United Brethren Church, Otterbein has a long history of service to the central Ohio region. The university was named for United Brethren founder Philip William Otterbein. The original campus was located in downtown Westerville, where it remained until 1916 when it moved to its current location on the city's west side.

Otterbein offers a wide variety of undergraduate programs, as well as a master's degree in athletic training and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. The university is home to Ohio's only undergraduate program in musical theatre. Notable alumni include former U.S. Senator John Glenn, astronaut Jerry Ross, and actor/director Tim Busfield.
