Ohio Dominican University is a private university in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio Dominican University was founded in 1911 as a college for women by the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs. The college was originally located on the west side of Columbus, Ohio, but moved to its current location on the east side of the city in the early 1950s. The university became co-educational in 1964 and began offering graduate degrees in 1969.

Ohio Dominican University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and offers over 50 undergraduate majors and several graduate programs. The most popular majors at the university include business, education, psychology, and nursing.
