The New England Institute of Technology is a private, non-profit, co-educational technical university located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States. It was founded in 1940 as a vocational school to serve the needs of World War II veterans. The school was later expanded to include associate's, bachelor's, and master's degree programs.

The university is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. It offers over 50 associate's degree programs, 35 bachelor's degree programs, and 15 master's degree programs.

The campus covers over 50 acres of land and includes 11 buildings. The university has a library, computer labs, and a variety of student organizations.

The university's sports teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division III. The men's and women's teams are known as the "Nighthawks".

The university has an enrollment of over 4,000 students, most of whom are from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
