National Louis University (NLU) is a private university in the United States with its main campus in Chicago, Illinois. NLU offers more than 60 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in areas including business, education, nursing, health sciences and social work.

Founded in 1886, NLU is one of the oldest universities in Illinois. The university has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1925. NLU is also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

NLU has an enrollment of over 5,000 students, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1. The university offers both online and on-campus programs.

NLU's main campus is located in Chicago's Loop, near many of the city's cultural and historical attractions. The university also has campuses in Elgin, Illinois and Florida.
