Lone Star College System (LSCS) is a public community college system serving the Greater Houston area in Texas. It is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. LSCS was founded in 1973 and is the largest higher education institution in the Houston area and one of the fastest-growing community college systems in the United States. LSCS consists of six colleges, including LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Montgomery, LSC-North Harris, LSC-Tomball, and LSC-University Park. LSCS also offers online courses and programs.

LSCS provides affordable, high-quality education and training opportunities to meet the needs of the diverse population in the Greater Houston area. LSCS offers more than 200 degree and certificate programs, including associate degrees, in a variety of fields such as business, healthcare, engineering, and liberal arts. LSCS also offers workforce development and continuing education programs to help students gain the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.
