Loma Linda University (LLU) is a Seventh-day Adventist coeducational health sciences university located in Loma Linda, California, United States. The University comprises eight schools and the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Founded in 1905, Loma Linda University is a health sciences university with programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, nursing, allied health, and biomedical sciences. The main campus is located in the San Bernardino County city of Loma Linda, about 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown Los Angeles and about 80 miles (130 km) west of Palm Springs.

Loma Linda University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. The University is also accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association. Loma Linda University is organized into eight schools: the School of Allied Health Professions, the School of Behavioral Health, the School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Dentistry, the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Public Health.

The University offers more than 140 degree programs in over 100 areas of study. Degree programs are offered at the bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and professional levels. Loma Linda University is home to the world-renowned Loma Linda University Medical Center, which includes Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Loma Linda University Heart and Surgical Hospital, Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, and Loma Linda University Cancer Center. The University also operates the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, and the Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
