Founded in 1934, Jacksonville University is a private, nonprofit university located in Jacksonville, Florida. The University has more than 3,700 students enrolled in over 100 programs of study, including Business, Education, Nursing, Marine Science, and more. JU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is a member of the Florida Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities. The University is also home to the Davis College of Business, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
