Hiram College is a private liberal arts college in Hiram, Ohio. It was founded in 1850 as the Western Reserve Eclectic Institute by Amos Sutton Hayden and other members of the Disciples of Christ. The college is non-sectarian and coeducational. It enrolls approximately 1,200 students.

The school's original mission was to provide an education "for the diffusion of Christian civilization and the elevation of mankind." This mission has been expanded over the years to include a commitment to academic excellence and preparing students for successful careers.

The college offers a variety of undergraduate majors and minors, as well as graduate programs. The most popular majors include business, education, communication, psychology, and sociology. Hiram College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
