FIDM, or the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, is a private four-year college in Los Angeles, California. It is one of a few schools in the United States that offers specialized training in the areas of fashion design, merchandising, and other creative industries.

FIDM was founded in 1969 by a group of fashion industry professionals who saw the need for a specialized college that could provide training in the business and creative aspects of the industry.
