Davis & Elkins College is a small, private, liberal arts college located in Elkins, West Virginia, in the United States. It was founded in 1904 by two ministers of the United Methodist Church, and is affiliated with the denomination. The campus is located on a former estate of over 100 acres (40 ha) donated by Henry Gassaway Davis, the co-founder of the coal and railroad industries in West Virginia. The college has an enrollment of about 1,000 students from 35 states and 20 countries. The student-faculty ratio is 12:1 and the average class size is 17.

The college offers bachelor's degrees in 28 majors and 32 minors. The most popular majors are business, education, and psychology. The college also offers master's degrees in business administration, education, and counseling, as well as a doctorate in physical therapy.

The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division II West Virginia Conference. The college's colors are green and gold, and the mascot is the Senators.

The college was founded in 1904 by Rev. Dr. D.J. Culp and Rev. W.M. Brown, two Methodist ministers. The campus was originally located on a 10-acre (4 ha) plot of land donated by Henry Gassaway Davis, a wealthy West Virginia businessman and co-founder of the coal and railroad industries in the state. The college was named after Davis and his wife, Elizabeth Elkins.

The first class of 16 students was enrolled in September 1904. The college awarded its first bachelor's degree in 1908. In 1920, the college moved to its current location on a 100-acre (40 ha) estate donated by Davis. The campus includes several historic buildings, including Graceland, the former home of Henry Gassaway Davis.
