The college's undergraduate programs include a traditional four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, an accelerated three-year BSN program, and a two-year RN-to-BSN program. The college's graduate programs include a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program with tracks in nurse anesthesia, nurse midwifery, and nursing education, as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.

Columbia College of Nursing has a long history of educating nurses. The college was founded in 1898 by a group of Milwaukee women who saw the need for a nursing school that would provide quality education to women. The college was originally located in a converted residence on Milwaukee's east side. In its early years, the college admitted both men and women, but it became a women-only institution in the early 1900s.

The college moved to its current location on the city's west side in the mid-1920s. In the years since, the college has undergone several expansions and renovations. Today, it occupies a five-story building that houses state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and clinical facilities.

Columbia College of Nursing has a strong commitment to nursing education and research. The college offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid programs to help students cover the cost of tuition and other expenses. The college is also home to the Center for Nursing Research, which supports the college's faculty in their efforts to conduct nursing research and improve patient care.
