The College of Staten Island (CSI) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a senior college of the CUNY system, located on Staten Island in New York City. The college is the only public college on Staten Island and is the largest college in the borough. It is also the only college in the borough that offers a full range of undergraduate and graduate programs.

CSI was founded in 1976 as a result of the merger of Staten Island Community College and Richmond College. The two colleges had been operating independently since the early 1960s, when the City University of New York was created.

The college is located on a 204-acre (82-hectare) campus in the center of Staten Island. The campus is accessible by public transportation, and there is also a shuttle bus that runs between the campus and the Staten Island Ferry terminal.

The college offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as a number of professional and certificate programs. The most popular undergraduate majors at CSI are business, education, nursing, and the liberal arts. The college also offers a number of unique programs, such as a bachelor's degree in marine science and a master's degree in gerontology.

CSI is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The college is also a member of the American Association of Colleges and Universities and the Association of American Colleges and Universities.

CSI has a student body of over 14,000 students, and the college employs a faculty of over 600 full-time and part-time faculty members. The college also has a number of research centers and institutes, including the Center for the Study of Staten Island, the Center for Innovation in Science and Mathematics Education, and the Staten Island Institute of Arts and Sciences.
