It grew rapidly, and by the early 20th century, it was the largest and most influential yeshiva in the United States. The yeshiva attracted many talented students from across Europe and America, and its graduates went on to become some of the most prominent rabbis and scholars in the world. The yeshiva was a major force in the development of Modern Orthodox Judaism, and its alumni include such luminaries as Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, and Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik.
