The Bet Medrash Gadol Ateret Torah is a yeshiva located in the Old City of Jerusalem. It was founded in 2001 by Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, and is one of the largest yeshivas in the world. The yeshiva has over 1,000 students, and offers a variety of programs including a five-year Talmudic program, a three-year post-high school program, and a one-year program for college students. The yeshiva also has a kollel, or advanced study program, for married men. The yeshiva is known for its strict adherence to halakha, or Jewish law, and its commitment to Torah study.
