Becker College is a private college in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1784 as the Worcester County Manual Labor School and is the second oldest college in Massachusetts after Harvard University. The school was founded with the purpose of providing education to those who could not afford it. The school changed its name to Becker Junior College in 1951 and then to Becker College in 2009. The college offers associate and bachelor's degrees in a variety of fields, including business, nursing, and veterinary science. The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
