Bakersfield College is a public community college in Bakersfield, California. Established in 1913, it is the third oldest college in the 23-campus California Community Colleges System. It offers Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees, certificates of achievement, and transfer programs to four-year universities. The college has a student body of over 18,000 students.

Bakersfield College was founded in 1913 as a junior college, and was the first institution of higher education in Kern County. The college moved to its current location in 1955. The campus covers over 100 acres (40 ha) and includes over 30 buildings.
