Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College-Berkeley (AIMC Berkeley) is a nationally accredited institution offering professional programs in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. AIMC Berkeley’s programs are designed to prepare students for careers as licensed acupuncturists and Chinese herbalists.

AIMC Berkeley’s curriculum integrates the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Western biomedical sciences. Students receive a solid foundation in TCM theory, diagnosis, and treatment modalities, as well as in-depth training in acupuncture point location, needling techniques, and Chinese herbal medicine.

AIMC Berkeley’s clinical training program provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in treating patients. Students also have the opportunity to participate in externships at community clinics and hospitals, providing them with real-world experience in the field.

Upon graduation, students are prepared to sit for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) exams, which are required for licensure in most states. AIMC Berkeley’s programs are also approved by the California Acupuncture Board, making graduates eligible to apply for licensure in California.
